American Red Cross Hall Of Fame
46th Annual Nominations
Every day people across the country are presented a situation which they would never choose. Many times they step up and extend themselves in such a way that people around them recognize their actions as something out of the ordinary. These actions are referred to as acts of Heroism.
February 25, 2005 found us at the Indianapolis Red Cross facility attending the nominating ceremony for the 46th Annual Hall Of Fame Awards.

The 46th Annual Hall Of Fame Awards has a special significance for us. Jackie's nephew, Taylor Forey was a nominee. In addition to Taylor, we are honored to give recognition to everyone being nominated to the 46th Annual American Red Cross Hall Of Fame . If you want, view page one and page two of the event in pictures.

Perhaps this hitting so close to home is what opened the door for Jackie to become an instructor with the American Red Cross, Louisville Chapter.

Volunteering for Disaster Services
July 2005, we applied and began training for the American Red Cross Disaster Services Program. We have competed some of the training and have a lot more training to complete. However, when our training is completed and disaster strikes, our jobs will be to go to the disaster site and distribute food and water from an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) to victims of the disaster and also volunteers and staff who are assisting in the disaster response process. We will also be assisting in Mass Care shelters, set up for those people in harms way or who have lost their home.
